Welcome to the American Society for Clinical Pathology Online Examination Service. These exams require the use of a secure delivery browser. If the ASCP Online Browser is currently installed on your machine, skip the below steps and launch the ASCP Online Browser. The ASCP Online Browser does not require administration rights to use and install. Instructions for installing the ASCP Online Browser are outlined below. Once installed, launch the ASCP Online Browser and begin testing.

To Download:
  • Click the Download ASCP Online Browser button.
  • You will be prompted with a Security Warning asking: Do you want to run or save this file?. Click Save.
  • When prompted with the Save As dialog, choose Desktop and click Save. If you are prompted again, click Close.
  • You may launch the ASCP Online Browser from the Desktop. When you launch the ASCP Online Browser, you may be prompted with the Security Warning: Are you sure you want to run this software?. Uncheck the box: Always ask before opening this file and click Run.

Administrator Notes:
Administrator rights are not needed to install the ASCP Online Browser. The browser is an executable file that does not need to be pre-installed. This file can be run from a network drive, allowing it to be used from multiple PC’s without pre-installing the software.

  • If your computer does not automatically unzip the file, double click the downloaded file to decompress the ASCP Online Browser.
  • You may launch the ASCP Online Browser from the desktop.

Administrator Notes:
If the user logged in is not an administrator, you will need to authenticate using an administrator's username and password. You may need to get this information from your Macintosh computer administrator.
